Tuition
Tuition is determined by multiplying the fee by the number of lessons in a year. The tuition will be the same every month whether there are 2 or 5 lessons scheduled.
The number of lessons in a year from September-August is approximately 44-47. I use 44 lessons per year to determine the rate.

Payment is due by the fifth of each month.

Private Lessons 44 lessons x $30.00/12 months=$110.00 per month (one 30 minute weekly lesson)
Group Lessons 44 lessons x $25.00/12months=$90.00 per month (one 45 minute weekly class)
Adults with children enrolled in piano lessons $60.00 per month (one 30 minute weekly lesson)
Extended Private Lesson 44 lessons x $45.00/12 months=$150.00 per month (one 45 minute weekly lesson)
(Extended private lessons are for students 3rd grade and/or up in level 4A and above.)
10% Discount applies to those paying for 3, 6, or 12 months in advance.

Attendance/Make up lessons
Regular attendance is crucial to student progress. Although every effort will be made to accommodate requests for make-up lessons, schedules may not permit. Please note that there are a few ‘free’ lessons built into the calendar. It is possible that I can do make up lessons on some of the days that the studio is closed. Please do not assume that it will be possible to make up a lesson when you are determining whether or not to miss a lesson.
Please call or text 702-497-6119 if you are going to be absent. You may use the interactive calendar to schedule a make up lesson. Access to this calendar is given to those enrolled for lessons.
Termination Policy
Although this rarely, if ever happens, a student can be dismissed from the studio for the following reasons:
1. Attendance is irregular
2. Practice is sporadic
3. The family is not paying tuition or chronically paying their tuition late.
Establishing good practice habits can be challenging. Please refer frequently to the Tips for Practicing where you will find helpful guidelines and suggestions on how to help your child practice at home.
Recital and Musicianship Tests
Students are expected to participate but not required to perform in our annual piano recital and testing in the spring. Additional fees will apply.
Materials
The piano method book ($30) is not included in the lesson fees. Most students complete a book every 6-12 months. Students will occasionally be required to purchase additional music. Book money should be submitted to Mrs. Dotts as soon as possible upon receipt.
